A co-worker gave me a knee brace after complaining about my knee hurting at work. It seemed to help within the first hour of wearing it (despite that it was a medium and I had to stretch it out on a coffee can for three days before I could fit it up my leg without feeling like my circulation was being cut off). So I wore it for the next three days only at work. After I took it off, the third day I noticed a red ring around my leg, I assumed was from being tight. The next day the ring began to itch, so I did not wear it again. Three days after taking it off, the ring is still there and itches like no other. It burns and stings so bad. After reading another review, I believe it may be an allergy to the silicone. I don't know if I will be wearing it again even though it seemed to be helping my knee pain.
Better than a $1,000.00 brace. Always very athletic and injury prone. After a major car accident and destroying my back, I often have muscle spasms and nerve pain. This brace has done wonders for me. All their products have helped me stay youthful and active in my business endeavors and with my children. No meds is the best part. I love all the copper-infused products! I bought mine at HEB and Bed Bath & Beyond.
I have been using the Copper Fit for about a month. I have a couple of bulged discs, and this has helped with my back problems. I walk about 8-10 miles a day, and since I have started wearing this brace, I have not had to take any pain medications. The brace is very comfortable and does not restrict movement. I am hoping that by wearing this brace that it will keep me from taking pain medications.
The first thing I will say is this back support I guess is called Copper Fit because of the threading that was sown into it that is a copper color. I do not believe there is more than two cents worth of copper in it. Take away form that, as a back support, it does quite a good job. I have been wearing it for four days and when I used to get sciatic pain when walking. I don't have that problem when wearing the Copper Fit back support. So kudos to that. When purchasing from Canada, with all the shipping charges, dollar exchange, customs charges and taxes the cost ended up being $60.00 Canadian. At this time I feel the support is worth the cost for the pain relief that I am presently experiencing, although not totally gone, is better than before.
Copper-infused compression garments are selling like crazy. Ranging from tight-fitting knee and elbow sleeves, to shirts, leggings, gloves and socks, these products are marketed as a way to relieve pain and improve sports endurance. One of the biggest purveyors of copper-infused athletic apparel, Tommie Copper, grossed about $87 million in sales between April 2011 and October 2014, according to court documents.

I have had back pain all my life, in fact I had my back fused about 30 years ago without relief. An MRI has shown many problems, some congenital and moderate stenosis. and I presumed that this was the cause of my difficulty. Evidently, a significant part was due to strained muscles as this product made an immediate difference after wearing it for one night. I had walked regularly and gone to step aerobics for many years but this product has made a very noticeable positive difference for me.

This product may indeed work as indicated, meaning it will wick away moisture and prevent odors, but is this REALLY because of this supposed copper infusion? We doubt it. (Hint: a cotton athletic sock promises to basically do the same thing.) The study they cite points to copper’s use as an antimicrobial surface talks about when it’s used on tables at hospitals, not weaved into clothing.

Copper, a soft, malleable metal, has long been touted as a folk medicine treatment to relieve pain and heal injuries. According to court documents, a 2012 Tommie Copper catalog claimed that, “Copper has been used for thousands of years to aid in reducing inflammation, growing and sustaining connective tissues and aiding in blood flow and oxygen transport,” and that it “provides immediate relief from inflammation… and harnesses the other well-known health benefits of copper.”
Without going into excessive detail, compression socks like Energy Socks gently squeeze your legs, which moves blood upward toward your heart, thereby preventing swelling. Some garments provide a single level of compression, while others (like Energy Socks) claim to provide graduated compression—which means the compression is greatest around your ankles and decreases at it moves up the leg.

I have had problems over the years working on my feet for long periods of time. When I would get home at night I would have swelled ankles, fatigued legs, and muscle cramps. I had seen this product advertised on TV and wondered if it was worth looking into. I got my Carol Wright catalog and saw them in there so thought what the heck. I ordered two pair to try and ended up liking them so much that I ordered 8 more pair! I have used compression socks in the past some were too tight, some would shrink, and others would slip down during the course of the day. These are perfect-no slipping down, perfect fit, and haven't shrunk (I do wash in cold and hang to dry). Thanks to these now I come home without wanting to cut my legs off at the knee. Great product.

If you do a trade for a living that requires you to work with your hands, or if you're an office worker who types for hours, you'll likely find wearing these gloves helpful. You'll still have access to your fingertips if needed, but you'll be less likely to develop repetitive strain injuries in your hands, such as carpal tunnel syndrome. For those users who feel silly wearing them in the office where others can see, wearing them after work to reduce aches and stiffness could still be a benefit to you.

I am always skeptical of these new products, that are supposed to cure all. I remember the days I have read of about the snake oil salesman , who had a potion that would fix any ailment. I have heard of the benefits of copper bracelets and infused fabric for years. I think it all matters, to the individual. I am 54 years old and worked in the construction industry for 25 years , spent 8 seasons in Alaska being a chef, at world famous fishing lodges working 12 to 16 hours a day for weeks and have some major aches and pains in my larger sized body. I love to get out in the field,to fish and hunt ,but sometimes struggle with pain in my knee ,especially when I really spend a lot of time abusing my knees ,on my feet ,doing cooking demos , hiking up a canyon , hunting for a Mule Deer or upland birds, at a large outdoor convention, or 50 miles out in the Pacific Ocean ,on a tuna fishing trip,on a rough ocean. All of these things take a toll on my body parts . I got this product to test and review for free ,for an honest and unbiased review, so I can tell you that if I wear this product before, during and a short time after I abuse my body parts, I do feel less pain and soreness during my activities and in the short term period ,after the activity is done. I am not sure if it is the compression ,or the copper infused fabric . Sizing is important ,so make sure you go big ,to make sure you can wear with comfort .I give this product a semi high recommendation,stating that it helped my pain ,and could work for your needs. {FISHGRILLER APPROVED }
